I Will Not Be Dragooned

Inspired by the family motto of Chalkwell Hall’s original owner, rediscovered by Rachel Lichtenstein, TOMA artists interpreted the motto through diverse creative practices. This exhibition invites visitors to explore themes of resistance, creativity, and personal will through the artists’ reflections on public spaces, contemplation, and play.
